Marianne Sim Yuen Rong

Marianne Sim Yuen Rong , aged 16 (born in 1998), started learning Pipa at the age of 7 under the tutelage of Liu Yan. By the age of 12, she has attained distinctions in grading examinations organized by Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts and the Central Conservatory of Music in Grade 8 and 9 respectively. She has participated consistently in the National Chinese Music Competition that was organized by the National Arts Council since 2006. She was awarded the 3^rd Prize in 2008 under the Pipa Junior Category and subsequently the 1^st Prize in 2010.

 

沈岳榕，出生于1998年，新加坡，七岁开始在刘燕老师教导下学习琵琶。她在2010年参加南洋艺术学院与中央音乐学院联合主办的琵琶九级考试，考获特优的成绩。岳榕也活跃参加我国所主办的全国华乐比赛。她分别在2008年和2010年的全国华乐比赛琵琶独奏少年组中分别获得第三名与第一名。
