Annabelle Lim JiaYan

Annabelle’s passion for pipa is evident through the many performances and competitions she has participated in ever since she started learning pipa in 2005. She is always actively involved in pipa performances, either in school or in NAFA. In 2010, she participated in the National Chinese Music Competition (Pipa Category) and came second in place, and through her years of hard work, Annabelle also attained a Grade 9 Certificate for Pipa (Central Conservatory of Music).

 

佳燕从2005年开始学习琵琶，通过许多演出和比赛，佳燕对琵琶的热情便是显而易见的.  她从小渐渐培养起对琵琶有着的兴趣, 总是非常积极地参与学校或南洋的琵琶表演和比赛。在2010年，她参加了全国华乐比赛，并在琵琶组名列第二名. 在她的努力之下, 佳燕也考取了中央音乐学院9级的琵琶证书。
