Keif Tan

Keif started learning pipa at age 5 under the tutelage of Mdm Liu Yan. At age 6, he also began to learn the erhu from Mr Zhu Lin.  Keif has participated in numerous competitions including the NAC Chinese Music Competition from 2006 to 2012. He won the First Prize in Pipa Solo (Junior) in 2008 and the Second Prize in Pipa Solo (Youth) in 2012. He has obtained his Diploma in Pipa (Distinction) in 2011 and Diploma in Erhu (Distinction) in 2012. He was also an active member of Kong Hwa School, Hwa Chong Institution and People’s Association Youth Chinese Orchestras. He has performed in numerous concerts.

 

陈子褀五岁开始向刘燕老师学习琵琶，六岁向朱霖老师学习二胡。在2008年全囯华乐比赛中，子祺荣获琵琶独奏初級組冠军。2012年，他也荣获琵琶独奏青年組第二名。2011年，子祺在中央音乐学院和南洋艺术学院联办的分級考试中获得琵琶演奏特优文凭。隔年，他又获二胡演奏特优文凭。他曾是光华学校，华僑中学和人民协会青年华乐团的团员，多次在音乐会里表演。
